The son of a talented cook and a do-it-yourselfer, I have been immersed in “on-the-job” training from a very young age. I would often help my father with his DIY projects and my mother in the kitchen preparing delicious recipes for our large family. Both parents emphasizing the importance of “Doing it right the first time” and that “Anything worth doing is worth doing well”. I learned correct technique, the art of craftsmanship, the importance of accuracy, smart and functional design and aesthetic and the ability to think outside of the box and to be creative.
I attended The Ohio State University and studied Hospitality Management. I spent some time working in hotels but found my talents led me toward the culinary arts. In 2003, I attended The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA where I was fortunate to work for several influential chefs and instructors. Upon returning to Ohio in 2005, I have had the good fortune of working with talented chefs and business owners, who have all helped me hone my skills in the culinary arts, mixology, guest service, skilled tradesmanship, project design and management.
In 2014, I started my own business because I possess skills and talents that do not fit into any one profession, and I find everything I do to be a source of satisfaction and pride. I refer to myself as a “Whole-Home Handyman” as I am proficient at jobs from the top of your roof to your basement, inside and out. If you need your gutters cleaned, your bedroom painted, a light fixture changed, a back splash installed and grouted, a new floor laid, a garden planted, shrubs trimmed, mulch laid, grass cut, art hung, Thanksgiving dinner made, hors d’oeuvres for a cocktail party, a bartender for your next party, or a fancy eight-course meal for a dinner party you’re throwing, I’m your man!
